RFP: IT Technical Assistance for M&E System

    By Wouter | News, Press Release | Comments are Closed | 26 July, 2017 | 0

The National Religious Association for Social Development (NRASD), as a sub-sub recipient of the National Department of Health TB Cluster, is calling for a proposal for IT Technical Assistance for the TB Screening Programme funded by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria.

Computer technology companies and consultants with proven experience and the requisite qualifications in computer technology/software development are invited to submit proposals. The timeframe for the development and implementation of the solution is August & September 2017. We understand and are expecting that some respondents will only have expertise to respond to part of the Finance RFP – please feel free to do so, just clearly indicate what is and what is not in the solution.

RFP for M&E Technical Assistance, in essence:

To develop a mobile application to manage lists of contacts to be screened per field worker
Ability to capture a scan of a screening tool (as well as a nutritional referral tool & TB defaulter tracing tool)
The image of the screening tool to be OCR’d and the ability for the field worker to verify the form per field to confirm/correct the OCR’d information in the mobile application
The data to be centrally available for further verification by multiple levels of users
The contacts that are referred to clinics will have additional linked information that will be updated as they go through the process of further testing and ultimately treatment
The data to be centrally available to pull a variety of reports
Possible technologies that could be proposed are Android, CamScanner, ABBYYFlexiCapture, Power BI or any other solution as recommended by the respondent that will solve the M&E data capture, verification workflow and reporting requirements

Please submit questions via email to marc@cddc.co.za by 1 August 2017, and even if you don’t have questions let us know that you are interested, so that we can distribute questions and answers to all interested parties.
Proposals are due to marc@cddc.co.za by 10h00 on 4 August 2017. Late submissions will not be considered.

A detailed Request for Proposal is available in the link just below.
